News that basketball fans and card collectors will be talking about for years to come broke today... LeBron James announced that he will walk away from the Cleveland Cavaliers to join the Miami Heat to be with his Olympic team mates Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh.... According to Lebron - this will give him the best chance to 'win', both now and in the future. Great news for all Heat supporters and more than interesting viewing for all the neutrals.... BUT the teams that bent over backwards to sign Lebron aren't too happy with his antics (NY, New Jersey, Chicago etc) but they will soon get over it and move on.... BUT many of Cleveland's strongest supporters see this as a 'cowardly betrayal' among other things and it seems they may never forgive Lebron who (they believe) 'quit' on them. Read Cavs owner Dan Gilbert's open letter here.
