Hobby contains 18 packs per box with 9 cards per pack. 
Footy Stars which traditionally is a product for collectors of all ages has a very limited Hobby release in 2026. Limited to only 8400 boxes of 18 packs per Hobby box this release is for the more seasoned collector.
The Footy Stars Hobby release features a number of the insert sets which also appear in the Footy Stars Retail release. However all insert sets in Hobby are all individually numbered.
Insert sets exclusive to the Hobby release are Luminous Hobby (180 cards in the set and numbered to #850), Octane Diecut - Gold (162 / #315), AFL Milestones (106/#250), Etched (180/#145), BOOM Lava (126 / #140), Footy Stars Hobby Green (180 / #60), Mercury Hobby (108 / #85), Next Gen (90 / #99), and Royalty (90 / #99).
There are also the Brownlow Medal, Premiership, Coleman Medal, Norm Smith Medal and Rising Star Platinum Predictors all return and are individually numbered to 60 only. 
Also featured in Hobby is the Silver Blend Refractor featuring star from each team and there are also 22 Autographed cards numbered to #40 exclusive to Hobby.
Also included in Footy Stars 2026 Hobby is the Instant Win card.

2026 AFL Footy Stars is suitable for footy fans and seasoned collectors alike and features many of the insert series which collectors of all ages know and love.  
Footy Stars 2026 features the return of the Luminous insert series (180 cards) with one Luminous insert card appearing in every packet. Luminous cards are printed on a limited PET silver non-scratch 55 point board with each Luminous card having a protective clear film which you may choose to remove.
Returning popular inserts include Footy Heads (108), Milestones (106), BOOM (180) and the highly sought after Predictor cards - both Signature and Patch.
The predictors include the Brownlow Predictors Signature (90), Brownlow Predictor Patch (90), the Coleman Predictor Signature (18), Brownlow Predictor Patch (18), Rising Star Predictor Signature (18), Rising Stars Predictor Patch (18), Norm Smith Predictor Signature (18), and the Premiership Predictor (18). Each of the predictor cards are numbered and limited to 220 only.  
New insert sets introduced to the Footy Stars series for 2026 include Adrenaline Acetates (90), Mercury (216), Octane Diecuts (162) and Select Rewind (162). 
Limited edition insert sets include the Mercury Green Series (90) numbered to only 70, Footy Stars Refractors (72) numbered to 80 and the extremely limited Select Rewind Neutron numbered to #30 only.
Introducing the Golden Treasure card, one for each club which redeems for exclusive gold cards of the team featured on the card.
